This is the first time I have ordered from Riff City and I could not have been happier about the service I received. They under-promised and over-delivered which is much better than the other way around. I was hesitant about ordering a guitar online but it came very well packaged and well set up. I basically tuned it up and was ready to go. I am also very happy with the Chapman ML2, especially for what the price was. The only thing I would recommend is that Chapman put a set of Grover locking tuners on it. I would have paid an extra $50 for those, instead of having to put them on my self...anyway, very minor issue and I am very please with my Riff City Chapman experience. Thanks for the cookie!
Im very pleased with the quality merchandise I ordered. Customer service is amazing! I had 2 small issues with a drum set I ordered and Al(the drum guy) at Riff City called me on his personal phone late afternoon and told me everything would be taken care of. It wasn't just a courtesy call, either. We talked for quite awhile, finding out we had a lot in common. Riff City will be my go to place for musical instruments and accessories from now on!
I have never had better customer service than the service that was provided by Riff City. My story begins when I was deployed to Pearl Harbor Hawaii. I knew that I wanted to get the new 2017 American Professional Strat from Fender®, but I did not know where to get it. Then I remembered my local guitar shop in Minnesota! I decided to look on their website to see if they had this guitar. Not only did they have it, but for an incredible price! I quickly ordered the guitar and noticed a $100 shipping fee. Three-day shipping a guitar from Minnesota to Hawaii for only $100 is a great deal! Now I was tasked with finding an amp. I knew I had a Fender Blues Jr at home, but didn't really trust my mom to pack it, so I jokingly decided to call and see if Riff City could pack/ship it for me. They said it was a bit of an odd request, but they did it, and they did an exceptional job! All that was left to do was patiently wait for my guitar! And wait I did.. For a couple days.. a week.. a couple weeks.. At that point I decided to call and see if anything had happened to my guitar. They said that they weren't sure why it hadn't shipped and that they would investigate and get back to me. The next morning I woke up to a couple emails from Riff City. Not only had they apologized for my order getting lost, but they had reimbursed me for the price of shipping my guitar! But wait.. There's more.. I also had an email from them saying my account had been credited a $100 gift card! I immediately called the store to talk with the owner. He said his day had been made when he heard about how well his staff handled the situation. They went above and beyond and I now firmly believe that if you aren't shopping at Riff City, then you're shopping at the wrong place! Excellent customer service, quality of work, and owner!
Ordered a pedal from them because the pricing was unbelievably fair - beyond competition. Received not only the pedal, but also fast shipping, awesome communication/tracking, AND the cookie! The cookie made my day more than the pedal. World class - would highly recommend.
I ordered a Chapman ML1 RS from Riff City, it came in perfect condition. On time shipping and delivery. I'm pretty happy with my purchase overall.
